Planning Guide
Every Step You Take: Step-by-Step Guide
You have your hands full, preparing for your big event. No worries – I’ll make this simple and care-free.
Booking
OK, you’ve picked a date, locked in the location, and you’re ready to book. I’ll email a simple contract. Need changes, no problemo. Return a signed copy however is easiest – you can even just text me a pic.
Song Selection
Let’s talk about your event, your guests, the vibe you want, so we can tailor the flow of music. For example, if you want me to play during dinner, I’ll start with chill material, probably instrumentals. Or maybe you want to start rocking from song number one! It’s all good.
If you have song requests, let’s discuss that early on. Learning all the parts and crafting that into a looping performance might take some time!
Have a theme for your party? Let’s discuss! I’ve done Yacht Rock, 70’s, Latin instrumentals, French music! Advance warning – No opera 😉

Load-In
Equipment
I provide everything – all instruments, PA and lighting. I’ll bring an iPad with a variety of songs to play when I’m not performing, with playlists for dinner, dance, upbeat…
Do you want to play music on your phone, laptop or iPad? Can do.
Stage Area
I don’t need a stage, unless you’d prefer to set one up. I only need about 10×10 feet of space, and one electrical outlet. If need be, I can squeeze in fairly tight – it’s fun to play close-in with your guests!
Weather
If you want me to play outside, please plan a backup spot in case it’s raining or cold. If there’s any chance of rain, we should do Plan B. A “game day decision” is OK.
Speeches, Toasts, Announcements
You’re welcome to use my PA (microphone and speakers) for speeches and toasts, or say, if you have an auctioneer.
I can also do announcements (Dinner is served!. Last Dance! Martians have landed!), and emcee for you.
Ready To Book Amazing Live Music?
Tell me about your event plans: date, number of hours, location, number of guests, genre(s) of music, anything you want me to know. I’ll get back, pronto.
